Who is effected?

If we've learned anything from the digital delay, it's that consumers need to become digitally aware now.

Our state relies on translators to get broadcast signals from one community to the next. Our broadcast members have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on equipment and infrastructure to have these translators ready with digital receivers. Consumers in communities all across the state who receive all of their television signals from one of these translators may not be effected initially as the translators will continue to "translate" the digital signal.

The situation is different in cities that are the home to full-power television stations.
