This year's tournament will take place on Thursday, June 6, 2013 The New Mexico Broadcasters Association wants you to join forces with the NMBA Foundation in this unique endeavor to raise money for scholarships for New Mexico's high school students. The mission of the New Mexico Broadcasters Association has been to serve its members and their communities for over a half century. Broadcasters have been providing their communities with millions of dollars in free airtime to promote local fundraisers, school events, local charities and other events that have raised millions of dollars. The Foundation has continued in this tradition by giving thousands of dollars in scholarship money over the last 50 years to New Mexico students attending New Mexico universities. We hope that you will join us in playing 18 holes of golf at one of the Southwest's premiere golf destinations. Each year the New Mexico Broadcasters Foundation hosts the Links for Education Golf Tournament to support New Mexico students. All the proceeds from our annual golf tournament go to several scholarship funds, including a high school scholarship program that provides awards worth more than $10,000, and our Washington, DC broadcast residency program helping New Mexico college students. |
