New Mexico radio and television stations provide a tremendous amount of free programming within their own communities. Our broadcasters understand the importance of serving their community, and work hard at identifying local issues, providing free air time, and assisting with many non-profit agencies in their communities.

To that end, the NMBA has developed two programs to help public agencies get their message out with their public information campaigns. Through our PEP program, the NMBA solicites member stations to promote these campaigns, and helps facilitate attention to statewide issues by working with state officials to identify the most pressing social problems. The NMBA also faciliates the voluntary airing of PSA campaigns for our PSA partners. These programs meet different needs and are designed for different purposed.
