The NMBA facilitated a debate between the Republican candidates for the US Senate seat being vacated by Pete Domenici on Friday, May 30, 2008. The debate between Heather Wilson and Steve Pearce highlighted the candidates' positions just 4 days before the primary, and was broadcast by radio and television stations all across the state.
